7. Skoda Octavia

The Model Y is due in the summer. The compact SUV model has up to seven seats, making it the first big foray into the family car market for Tesla.

Range is from 200-300 miles, depending on the version you choose. But whatever you go for, Tesla cars are some of the finest electric models on the market.

9. Vauxhall Mokka X

Another electric SUV, the Vauxhall Mokka X has been designed to look just like its petrol and diesel counterparts, something that consumers have a demand for (according to research conducted by Vauxhall).

The car company is making a big push into the green market, and the Mokka X EV will have a range of over 180 miles, impressive for a car of its size.

10. Volkswagen Golf

Last but by no means least, the Volkswagen Golf will be entering its incredible eighth generation in 2020.

Having first hit the road in the 1970s, the newest edition is a far cry from its original self. Now you can choose from a whole host of different engine options, including hybrid models.
