Awards take place tonight, a glittering awards ceremony in central London. And we’re up for an award! Creditplus have reached the final shortlist for the Best Automotive blog category. After being highly commended last year, we’re hoping to take it one step further this year and seal the win. Here’s a recap of some of our favourite blogs, and what we learned from the last UK Blog Awards.
Last year’s commendation was a big inspiration for those behind the blog here at Creditplus. Knowing you are doing something right and being recognised by industry professionals was a fantastic achievement. But who remembers second place? This year we’ve put a lot of effort into improving the Creditplus blog, expanding the breadth and depth of topics covered, spending more time researching and writing each article. We also expanded the team, bringing James Dwyer and Luke Tovey on as blog specialists. Hopefully all the time, hard work and creativity will be recognised at the awards ceremony tonight!
We couldn’t pass up this opportunity to give a shout out to some of our favourite blogs from the last year. These are our most read and most shared blogs, as well as the ones we enjoyed writing the most.
Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs – The inspiration behind Sons of Anarchy, the hit biker crime show.
Designed by man, engineered by nature – A look at how designers solved technical problems by looking to nature for answers.
The perfect crime – A detailed look at the history of the getaway car.
Ever thought about upcycling your motor? A guide to repurposing old car parts into something new.
