Full details including new specifications and pricing for the all-new Renault Twingo have been announced as ordering opens. Three variations of the popular Twingo will be available for delivery from September.

The Twingo has been a consistent seller for Renault and they will be looking to continue this success with the All-new Twingo and its three variants. Retailing from £9,495, the new Twingo has been designed to be completely personalised. This includes choosing the colours for the interior, customisable instrument controls and air vents, and a variety of different decals and alloy wheels to choose from.

The three variations are named Expression, Play and Dynamique. Each new variation comes with connectivity as standard, allowing smartphone operation of the radio, onboard phone, trip computer and sat nav. The cars also come with electric power steering, electric front windows, remote central locking, height adjustable steering wheel, and a lane-change function for the indicators. For the first time, the Twingo will be rear wheel drive and come with five doors instead of three.

One added bonus for drivers is the extra 14 miles to the gallon, with official figures of 67.3mpg for the Dynamique with its Start & Stop technology.

The Twingo is entering its third iteration since its launch in 1993. The name is a combination of “Twist”, “Swing”, and “Tango”. The last model was released in 2007 and won the award for “Best City Car” at Parkers’ New Car Awards 2011. The new Twingo was debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014, with an early concept version making an appearance at the F1 Monaco Grand Prix 2013.
