Today marks a happier than usual day at Creditplus HQ. Two weeks after being recognised as highly commended at the UK Blog Awards, we are now eagerly awaiting the results of the sought after accolade of Best Car Finance Provider 2014 by Credit Today. We have our fingers and toes crossed for the results later this evening!

Managing Director Shaun Armstrong founded Creditplus in 2004 and this year the company is celebrating its 10^th year of trading.  To understand why we have been nominated as the best car finance providers in the UK, we’ll share with you some of the innovations and successes from our 10 years of trading.

We are pioneers!

Our dedication towards our values and becoming an ethical lender led us to become innovators in the industry. We developed the first car finance calculator, making working out what you can afford simple, and helping you make an informed decision about how much you want to borrow. We were also the first car finance company to run a quotation search to match you to a lender whilst protecting your credit rating.

Quick online decision:

Creditplus were the first car finance provider to offer customers a quick online decision. This allows us to match the consumer to the correct lender quickly and accurately, speeding up the whole car financing process whilst ensuring it does not damage their credit file. This technology was produced in house in August 2009 to ensure that we could provide the fastest and most accurate car finance decisions. Over 200,000 applications have been made via our online application form with an efficiency rate of over 86%.

 Ethical lending:

We are passionate about helping our customers in anyway we can. Our investment in credit evaluation technology has allowed us to analyse credit files without any detrimental impact to customers’ credit scores. The results of this process allow the teams to place customers with the best finance option available to them. We constantly look for ways to make the process of applying for car finance easier and more transparent for consumers. By having highly a trained personal advisor assigned to each applicant, our customers always have a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact to guide them through the car finance application process.

Finance calculator:

Creditplus have developed bespoke tools such as our multiple-calculator. This tool allows users to compare our different loan products side by side to easily identify which product would be best suited to their situation. This tool provides real finance calculations from our lenders directly to our customers. We believe this sort of honest and open approach is generally lacking from the industry as a whole. We have made the decision to empower our customers by providing them with all the details they need to make an informed decision on their car finance agreement.

Successes:

One of our proudest moments was when our founder and MD Shaun Armstrong was voted the 12^th most influential motor finance professional in 2013, in a survey conducted by a leading trade publication, Motor Finance Online. This highlights Shaun’s expertise in the industry and well deserved recognition for the innovative ideas we developed within the company.

On the 25^th April this year, Creditplus were recognised as highly commended at the UK Blog Awards. The team was a particularly pleased about this as our blog is a relatively new part of our website and has come on leaps and bounds in the last 6 months.

The combination of our innovative online tools and finance ethics have enabled us to achieve a score of over 90% on the independent review site, Review Centre.
